About the Owner and Operator
My name is Evan and I am the owner - operator of Caton Exterior Renovations & Installations (formerly Wild West Fencing). I started this company only a few years ago, but I was born into the trades and have been in constant contact since. I was both born and raised in the Comox Valley and it is where I proudly call home.
I have advanced training in the areas of physics, biology, math, and chemistry. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a bachelors degree in science with honors with great distinction. I was in the process of completing a doctorate degree, but factors beyond my control called me back to my hometown in 2017. Regardless, my post-secondary experience has had a significant and long-lasting positive effect on how I conduct business and my quality of work.
Upon meeting me, you will find that I am very knowledgeable and thorough. I am an honest person and will not sell you on an idea that is second-class. My goal in this business is to provide high quality workmanship for every single customer while generating and maintaining good customer relationships.
